My partner and I are the couple that books the early flight to catch the light, asks the captain for the bridge tour, and plans a whole day around one perfect dinner by the water. Travel is how we celebrate our life together — and over the years it's taken us somewhere new almost every season.
Whutzthat Travel grew out of that. I'm a travel advisor who has personally checked into the suites, sailed the ships, and walked the streets I'll send you to. No guesswork, no copy-paste itineraries — just trips built around what you actually love, with someone in your corner before, during, and after.
I care especially about making travel feel easy and genuinely welcoming for LGBTQ+ travelers — choosing the stays, sailings, and destinations where you'll be celebrated, not just tolerated.

Where we keep going back
Indonesia · our favorite in Asia
The one we recommend most. A waterfall you can actually swim under, cheeky macaques in the Ubud Monkey Forest, and clifftop bars hanging over the Indian Ocean. Bali does barefoot luxury and real adventure in the same afternoon — which is exactly why we keep coming back.
The Maldives · the big celebration
If there's an anniversary, a milestone, or a "we made it" worth marking — this is where I send you. We've stayed at both the St. Regis and the Ritz-Carlton: overwater villas in a perfect ring, that impossible blue, and sunset ceremonies that turn the whole sky to sherbet. I'll even get you there in style, right down to the champagne in first class on the way over.
South Africa · our most recent obsession
Our latest trip and an instant favorite. Cape Town has the food, the coastline, and the wine country; then you fly toward Johannesburg and into the bush, where a lioness walks past your vehicle with her dinner and three giraffes pose against a burning sky. Sundowners in the savanna — there's nothing like it.
Iceland
Otherworldly in the best way — waterfalls you can walk behind, black-sand coastlines, geothermal lagoons, and the chance of the northern lights overhead. A trip-of-a-lifetime that's surprisingly easy to reach.
New Zealand
Queenstown, Christchurch, Auckland — and some of the most beautiful waterfalls and mountain scenery on earth. The kind of place that rearranges what you think a landscape can do. Pure adventure with a soft landing.
